Kayan is back this year with our local version of the international 16 Days Campaign of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. In conjunction with a coalition of Arab human rights and feminist organizations, this year’s campaign focuses on femicide with the slogan, “My life is mine. Enough is enough!” This is especially important this year because of the unfortunate recent increase in cases of femicide. The coalition will be conducting dozens of awareness workshops and rallies in Arab towns and villages over the course of 16 days, starting on the 25th of November. Our goal is to reduce these crimes and to weaken the patriarchal systems that allow for femicide. TWe highly value the coalition, for it sends a clear and unified message that rejects the desecration of women's blood, freedom, and . dignity
We invite everyone to view the program of events and participate to ensure that we are successful in raising awareness and interest around this topic. It is literally a matter of life or death

The coalition consists of:
Altufula Center

Al-Zahraa—Organization for the Advancement of Women,
